2019: Obiano Will Not Impose Candidates On APGA – Obi-Okoye
Chief Obi-Okoye made this assertion in an ABS News and Current Affairs television program, FACE THE PRESS.
He described the incumbent Governor of the state as a true democrat who would allow level playing field for all aspirants who want to use the APGA platform to contest in the general polls.
Chief Obi-Okoye who was the immediate past National Publicity Secretary of APGA reiterated the belief of his party in the zoning and rotation principles, especially as it concerns the governorship seat and the Anambra South Senatorial District after the second term of Governor Obiano.
He however made it clear that apart from zoning, the party would also consider the personal capacities of its candidates and APGA to defeat their opponents in next year’s general elections.
